Phoenix in the desert - rising to new heights

My Goals:
My short term goal was to exercise at least 30 minutes 6 days a week.



My Program:
Walking 10 to 15 miles a week on the treadmill is my main type of exercise because it's convenient. But I also have been taking walks in the near by parks now that the weather is cooler. No matter where I walk, I find music keeps me going. Love my iPod!

At the end of January, I added strength training to my workout exercises. I also joined a gym and in addition to the weight machines, I am also using the elliptical. I need to continue increasing the time I can do on the elliptical and so also use the treadmill, bike, or rowing machine when I'm doing cardio at the gym.

Personal Information:
I'm from Arizona and have lived here most of my life. During my childhood years we did move several times so I lived in many places throughout the US.

Other Information:
I enjoy photography, genealogy, traveling and reading.

Thank you for the Goodie. It made my day! I like to stay positive. It is so easy to be blown off course on this journey and fall into The Pit of Despair. Being positive helps me pick myself up, dust myself off and find my way back to the journey path to success.
Hope you get your new fridge soon. Do,you have a neighbor you can borrow ice from?
