We moved to Germany, my husband went on his 5th deployment only 3 weeks after arriving in Germany and he came home with his PTSD worse than ever. Now we are back in Pennsylvania, he is pending a medical retirement from the Army and after a year of turmoil and all the side effects of PTSD we are trying to get to our "new normal" life. My Goals:
My goals are:
1. To get my resting heart rate 20 points lower, it has been high for some reason and it concerns me because my Dad died of heart disease.
2. I want to be in the top 10 for exercise minutes for November and December 2010 in a fitness group.
3.To leave for Germany in June 2011 at my goal weight!

My Program:
1. Staying focused on Spark with help me bring down my HR. It will be a combination of eating and exercising to achieve this.
2. I added a fitness tracker to my goals of doing an extra 60 mintes of walking everyday no matter what I did that day for exercise to achieve max points in fitness group.
3. Work hard and make wise choices to achieve my goal weight!

Personal Information:
I am 38 years old, married for 15 years, mother of 3 children and I work for a medical software company as a trainer. I have a 17 year old daughter who is a senior this year and will be attending Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte for her culinary degree. My son is 14, plays football, enjoys running, and is a member of Navy Sea Cadets which is a great organization for our youth. My youngest daugter is 13 and very talented in art and aspires to do something in science field. I am married to an infantry soldier in the US Army and we have lived in Kentucky, Hawaii, Texas, Colorado, South Carolina and in June 2011 Germany! I have been overweight for quite a few years now and am commited to getting healthy. I did have a lapband surgery in Feb 2010 and have had success with it, but it is a tool to lose weight and I stopped my routine over the summer and my feet got stuck in the mud! Time to reclaim my motivation and RUN with it!

Other Information:
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore,
is not an act but a habit.
