I'm finally ready to do this

I have been struggling to lose 20 pounds for the last 20 years! I know, it's not a lot of weight, but as a fitness enthusiast who worked as a group fitness instructor for 10 years, it was always a hindrance. Now I am ready to be a healthy food enthusiast as well. I also realize that exercise alone can't do it for me. I have to eat well to achieve my goal.

My Goals:

First - to drastically reduce the amount of empty calories I consume.

Second - to eat clean and track the nutrients of the food I eat.

Third - to lose 15 pounds.

My Program:
I am cooking on the weekends so I can bring my breakfast and lunch to work.

I am tracking religiously to get a more accurate account of the calories I am consuming, and which foods contains the nutrients I'm lacking in my diet.

I am limiting the amount of sugar and sodium I have by avoiding fast foods and desserts whenever possible.

You mentioned on my blog that you had to give up Cream Of Wheat but you can't give up chocolate. Although it may be very very challenging to give up chocolate, I have no doubt that if need be, you can do the same thing.

I think they should have a "like" button on people's comments, so they know the comments they made on someone's blog was read and appreciated. That's what it should say, not "like", but "read and appreciated - thank you".
