Mary, Yes, I think I will wait until he is settled back at home and when he will want to resume those phone conversations. That will be my "segway" to tell him how I feel. I just love all the comments I have been getting about Merritt, relationships and just life. They are teaching me so much about everything I need to learn, a gift Merritt doesn't realize he gave me. ;o)
I have orange roses in my orange room Mary…got them at Trader Joe's and they are just gorgeous! And you like them too!!!!! Two peas in a pod! Well, I best get ready for this evening's event, I wish I could just stay home and veg with Lucy Lou. I am not a real social butterfly and going out two nights in a row is a bit much for me…but I will make it, I usually do. Goodnight Mary, sweet dreams…always. 10 hours ago
Oh God, NO MORE FLOWERS. Especially red roses! THey aren't exactly my fave….did I mention that to you? Glad to hear you are feeling better. Just rest and get your body all healed up Mary. Don't do anything too strenuous, you were in a lot of pain. I like how you approached the "breaking up" chat. I will be using your way of talking, not the "let's be friends" line. Your way is a more gentler way and right now, Merritt is still so vulnerable over his wife's death. Ugh, not looking forward to it though. Yes, I think it will work out with Lucy after all. She lives about 5 mins away believe it or not. SO it will be easy. Her mommy wrote that she misses her so much and very grateful for the care I gave Lucy Lou. Hey it was such an easy job to have her in my home, actually she wasn't a job. She was my "roomie." Hugs dear Mary…I am going into the city tonight. An engagement party for my cousin's daughter. My estranged sisters will be there, should be interesting……xoxoxo 11 hours ago
