I was working out with a trainer at least three times a week.When we had to leave Michigan, I lost the ability to work with him, but I am still following his diet and exercise plans. There is a great pool where I live, and it is crowded with bikini body beauties. I still don't like how I look when they're there. But I am getting it all back! By this summer, I'll be back in shape! My Goals:
My first goal was to reach 114 pounds. DONE!!! In my first 4 months with Spark People, I lost 30 pounds. I can wear all my XS and size 4 clothing again. My goal is to maintain this weight or less for life and continue to tone up and grow stronger.

In April 2012, I reached 106 pounds - for a total weight loss of 28% of my former body weight!

I am trying to lessen my tendency to worry: I read this on another Sparker's page and had to save it for motivation: "The root word for worry is from old English, WYRGAN, meaning to strangle. In other words, when we worry, we are killing our chances of happiness."

My Program:
Following my wonderful trainer's program, even though I cannot see him (He is in Michigan and I am back in Illinois.) I am still following the healthy eating plan he gave me and am working out at least 6 times a week (usually 7 times; varying the muscle groups worked.)

Personal Information:
Because of the extraordinary friendship and kindness of SparkFriends (especially Yatmama) I am learning to believe again and have stopped fearing asking God for help. I know I can't do this, and deal with all of my life's stresses, alone.

Romans 3:6 ...How else would things ever get straightened out if God didn't do the straightening?

Romans 3:24 God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity He put us in right standing with Himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where He always wanted us to be and He did it by means of Jesus Christ. .

Today is Sunday, a day of rest, relaxation and time to refuel for the week. Yet, many people are stressed out. According to our life instruction manual, the Bible, we need to rest today. I am hoping that you are doing just that.

We have a full week ahead of us. If we are rested it will be a much easier week. Besides that, we will make better decisions, have more patience and most of all, enjoy our week a lot more.

If your not resting, please take some time to so. It is a way to take care of yourself, as well as showing others that you see yourself as someone of value and worth.

Have a wonderful week. Enjoy your time of resting and give yourself lots of TLC today because you are so worth it.

Wow, it is another extremely cold, sunny day here. How grateful I am that we have not had any more snow.

Yesterday I stepped onto the scale (something I do not like doing) and found out that I lost the 2 pounds I gained from my super bowl pig out. I tried something different this time--I eat a small peppermint candy everyday to satisfy my sweet tooth and I exercise when a tv advertisement come on or when I am in the kitchen cooking.

My house needs my TLC today because yesterday I was in so much pain I took care of me instead. By the way, I am finding out that I honestly am growing in how I look at me. I hope you do not mind that I am sharing this. However, I am no longer taking on false guilt. What I mean is, other people trying to put the blame on me for what they did. It feels so good to say "No" these days too! Working at pacing myself too. I actually feel more relaxed. And, I find that my daughter is acting much more respectful of me.

This month I am going to work more on decreasing my inflammation. If I do that, I feel it will also help my weight to decrease too.
May we have a great month learning to take better care of ourself and be the best person we can be...let's make February a fanastic month!

emoticon emoticon emoticon It's snowing hard here. We have about 2 1/2 feet of snow since this morning. It feels like all we do is shovel snow. I am certain our two will be out today making a snowman. And you can bet I will be inside warm. emoticon emoticon emoticon
