Since March 2004, twice I lost tons of weight only to gain it all back and more each time! But this time I made a lifestyle change instead of being on a diet! My program is portion control, healthier choices, lowering my sodium intake, logging my food here, Advocare nutrition, weight training, running and biking.

I am so happy for you - saw that you are down to 10 lbs (or less) to go! I was there, and I let it go - I guess I got complacent...yep. So, I am at my heaviest in forever, and it feels rotten...and gross. And I got on the scale last Monday and after I picked my jaw up from the ground, I decided RIGHT THEN AND THERE to start recording what I eat again. I don't ask myself for perfection, but to get up when I knock myself down by not sticking to my plan! And I'm recording it all - good and bad. And mostly, it's GOOD. So, I feel better, have more energy already, and have started exercising regularly again. I had been randomly walking, but this past week, I went to the gym 2 days, and walked 2.5 miles another. Today started a new week, and I have plans to exercise more and after this week, I hope to be feeling stronger and to begin lifting weights again! Anyway, keep in touch :) And keep that positive attitude! :)

That's too bad about the penguins...don't get too down about it though...there is still the fabulous Steelers!!!!
I have not been on this site in ages...I had a bout of eating and eating and eating...I gained all that I had lost back! My husband could tell I was so upset, so guess what? He got me a personal trainer! I am in my 3rd week with the training, which I do 3x's a week with an hour of hard core training and then I run my treadmill on the opposite days with Sundays off completely. The trainer has also helped me immensly with my diet. I have lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks!!! This time I really am doing it the right way! 24 lbs to go! I will say I am sooooooooo sore though! It is all worth it!
I'll be here cheering you on! We are both going to be hot mommies this summer!

Hey! Checking in on you - hope all is well! Did you ever try going to a Weight Watchers meeting for support? I love them - I have been going faithfully every week since April 2006. I will admit - I have had ups and downs, but I think I would have had a lot more DOWNS if I didn't go. Hope all is well!
