Hi my name is Lisa I live in Boston, have lost 100lbs then gained 25lbs. My dearest soul mate & husband passed away as well and my brother. Now I am really feeling HALT especially angry for losing my husband - he was my best cheerleader and I feel quite discouraged right now. however I have restarted my motivational goals and intend to get back to the art of losing weight.

Hi Lisa,

Saw your comment on the "Boredom Eating" thread. I hope you will contintue to get out, meet people, and make new friends. Sorry for the loss of your husband. Let your emoticon be your cheerleaders.

BTW...I was wondering about the acronym "HALT" I had heard it used in reference to avoiding situations of temptation by not letting yourself get too:
hungry (H), angry (A), lonely (L) or tired (T)

All the best for this New Year

Blessings,

Kathryn

Just checking in to see how you are doing. Hope all is going well, and you haven't gotten this yucky flu that's going around. Take care. emoticon
