I've been trying to lose weight since seventh grade and have never lost a pound. I guess I wasn't trying very hard. Now I need to make a change. This time I'm serious. There is no other option.

I didn't really realize how much weight I had gained. I had always been the chubby/fat girl. I don't ever remember not being very uncomfortable with me weight. However over the past few years being in university I have put on 30 more pounds. 30 pounds added to the 30 that I needed to lose before. I didn't really think it made much of a difference though. Until I got a job that involved walking by a lot of full length mirrors. I don't own a full length mirror so that was a wake up call.

I graduated in spring 2009 and I'm looking to start my career. However I feel like my weight is really holding me back. I'm not confident and it shows in my interviews. I won't be successful in my career until I beat this weight issue.

GOALS!

180lbs - New Runners *DONE!*
170lbs - Bench Jacket
160lbs - LuluLemon Pants
150lbs - Pole Dancing Lessons
140lbs - New Wardrobe
130lbs - Vacation!

My Program:
I'm focusing on eating nutrient dense foods. I'm staying within a calorie range of 1200 to 1500. I find that pretty easy to do when I'm eating the right kinds of foods.

I'm doing the 30 day shred to kick off my workout program and I'm also doing extra cardio at the gym. After the 30 days I'm adding in strength training.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. You are right, fitness accessories mean nothing. My parents would buy all kinds of gimmicks just to leave them in the corner. If a person really wants to exercise, all they need is right out their front door. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I've been in and out of being depressed lately, which makes it uber-difficult to stay consistent with my workouts, but I've been checking them off every week, and just try to take it all one day at a time.
Losing weight just takes the willingness to be consistent everyday, which is what I've been trying to do for myself... it's sounds so easy, but never is.
You sound really determined, so I'm sure your efforts will meet with great success! Best wishes!
