The right attitude!

I liked this so much that I decided to make it my intro:

"Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end."

So sad that Mom & Dad are having such a rough time. I certainly can relate to the crying... Often times, it is so hard to be "GRATEFUL" for what we have had that was so good in our lives. When where we are now in our lives those better times are "HISTORY" that is never to be lived again. We mourn the loss of our youth, our healthy bodies that we never believed would age, break-down, and let us down. We mourn the companionship of those who loved us "BEST"... It can be quite difficult to find the "GOOD" in our futures when we are speeding down the down-hill side of the slippery slope of life.
Maybe knowing that someone will take the time to share those good memories filled with hope, love and laughter would help ease the pain of loss... Just knowing that in the future loved ones will still be remembering those joy filled times might lighten the load. I sure hope that tears are good... because I do an awful lot of weeping myself. Knowing that most likely all my happy adventures are pretty much in my past.. memories can sometimes be a very lonely place to visit.
Oops, I meant to cheer ... but I got a lot maudlin.
Love and Hugs, Audra

Try the rice dish Mary Anne, it's a small recipe but you would have some for three or four days. I haven't tried to cut it in half. We used to have freshly made chunky applesauce with pork.
How are your parents doing?
Have a blessed Friday. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Mary Anne thanks for commenting on the blogs. Fr. Eric and I get a kick out of the similarities, my Erik doesn't really want to be too closely involved with church-funny most of my friends & guests are from Prince of Peace. I think Erik is afraid Eric will rub off on him emoticon emoticon emoticon
