More Mimo Is Not Always Better

I'm an immigrant from Prevention's Flat Belly Diet. Each decade I seem to have to lose about 20 lbs, and each decade I've been successful. But it doesn't seem to last.

Since I first came here I've tried FBD, and Alternate Day and just being sensible. I last a few weeks or months, then my craving for simple carbs reasserts itself. Each time I end up more disappointed in myself. So I'm back, but taking it a day at a time. Trying to be sensible...lean protein, no trash carbs, ...

Oh...and now that the weather is getting better, I'm back out in the garden. It's where I'm most optimistic.

PS. I'm a cat person, and this is Tom - ready to pounce!

If I took out the cheese and bacon it wouldn't be nearly as good of a salad!!

I eat a big salad each Saturday (my cheat day). However it consists of lettuce, bacon, sunflower seeds, cheese, croutons and when available egg and raisins covered in Ranch and Bleu Cheese dressing :) Not exactly a 'Health" food!

Thank you for the comment on my blog post. Thanks for the advice on inflammation, I'll have to see if I can eat some veggies I guess :( Not a big fan of veggies, although I wish I were, life would be easier!

The desserts were absolutely wonderful and I'm not a big sweet eater!
