It's time to find my true self!

I'm happily married for 11 years on July 27, 2014! Hubby is a wonderful support though all of my struggles with my weight and health issues. I have PCOS and had diabetes, which has caused major fertility and hormone issues. My doctor recommended weight loss surgery a few years ago, but I wasn't in the right frame of mind at the time. However, in January 2013 I decided Gastric Bypass surgery was the right decision for me and I had surgery May 28, 2013. One of the best decisions I ever made. ...

I'm no longer diabetic, my hormones are starting to balance out and we're going to start fertility treatments again.

My Goals:
I would like to get down to where I was in high school (145).

I want to get my PCOS and diabetes under control and hopefully get a bun in the oven!

*update my diabetes is GONE thanks to the Gastric Bypass surgery!

My Program:
I had Gastric Bypass surgery 5/28/13.

60+ grams of protein
1000 calories max, tracking consistently
64+ oz non-calorie fluids
Exercise! (Exercising is the hardest for me!)

Other Information:
I knowingly accept that I am a work in progress.
I understand that taking baby steps is the most I can do some days.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me words of encouragement. This time I was talking about body measurements but I agree 100% that we must weigh and measure our food. It is so easy to over or under estimate the servings we put on our plates. I think you can do it occasionally but not everyday. Those errors go right on my hips! LOL emoticon emoticon
