I'm here to work on small changes in my life that add up to big ones. I'm determined to keep up with my infant twin boys and 4 year old son, stay off of blood pressure meds and continue feeling fabulous on my path to good health and wellness. Ok, so I don't always feel fabulous, but I DO feel fabulous when I'm treating myself well and exercising and making good food choices. I just have to remember that!!!

I am 34 & 5'3". I'm a web app developer by day, and a hausfrau by night. I like to do hausfrau-y things like cook, quilt, crochet, read, watch trash tv, and play video games. I want to become healthier because it occurred to me that if the zombiepocolypse were to happen today, I would not be able to outrun them.

It's so funny to hear you refer to 6 lbs 14 oz as a "big" baby. My smallest was 7'9 and he was two weeks early. My largest was 9'12. :D My sister was expecting him to be over 8 lbs, so I think it was a real surprise he was as little as that. The only kid in our family so far who will actually fit into newborn diapers and clothes, haha!

Hahaha, yes, that is what I need -- a personal shopper/chef/person to follow me around and slap food out of my hand! Lol!! It is amazing when my sister comes over because she'll make these big salads that I wouldn't think to make on my own, and I'll eat it because it's there. Why can't I be fabulously wealthy and pay for a minder? Hahaha, if only! :)

I always enjoy hearing from you! I'm enjoying doing the hats in the evening and using up my odds and ends of yarn. Just this week had to buy some. I find using the looms relaxing, no pattern to follow and it doesn't catch Xena's attention like knitting needles do! Having fun putting yarn together in different ways. The hats go to the youth service center at the school where my daughter teaches. They have a lot of kids that don't have even the basics in clothes. The service center has been thrilled to have NEW hats for those that need them. :) It's win/win!
