Getting on the right track

When I was 17, I weighed 155 pounds. After 5 children and 3 marriages, I was up to 262 pounds on January 7, 2008, which was my highest weight ever. My joints hurt everytime I move and I get out of breathe real easy. I know that all this is caused by my weight. At least, I can say, thank goodness, that I do not have any health issues except my weight. Once I get my weight down, I know that I will feel so much better both physically and mentally. Staying motivated to do so is the hardest ...

Thank you for adding me as a friend....I reciprocated and added you as mine. I hope you are on your way to your 2015 resolutions....as I am on my way to mine. I want so badly to get back down enough to get on a horse and be able to ride without fear this year that I am going to hurt myself. I have many horses to chose from but my weight had added up since I have been off trying to recover from a car accident and surgeries. I am doing better now but not 100%. Unfortunately I don't think I will ever get back the complete use of my legs and foot....but it is working so I guess I should be grateful for that.

I miss my riding days.....I love the fact that you can cart your minis. How cool is that.

Happy New Year
Joanna

Hope your dh heals rapidly. What a fun benefit of losing weight. Riding can give a sense of freedom and a closeness to nature unlike any other. ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒบโ˜€๏ธ

Sorry to hear of your loss of your dear friend a few years ago. It can leave a gaping hole in our hearts. While no one will ever take their place, hope you find someone to share life's journey with.
