Ok, it isn't baby weight anymore....no more excuses!

I first joined Sparkpeople before I got pregnant with my son. I lost about 10 pounds and then got pregnant with him. After having my son, I finally got active again when he was about 9 months old and then I got pregnant with my daughter! My daughter will be 4 in September. I've lost some weight from my highest and have been able to maintain, but I still want to lose another 25 or so.

No more excuses, I have to do this for myself.

Stay withing my target range of 1250-1600 calories a day. The most important thing to me is staying active.

Will be doing a combination of P90X, Jillian Michaels videos and running.

I work full time, so it is especially important to get up and get moving every day.

Hey, saw your intro over on the cycling team page. How is it going emoticon ? I have been road biking for many years, and love it. That being said, I have greatly reduced my miles, and am hoping for a little incentive here at SP! Good luck with your journey emoticon

Thanks for the shout out....... I've been on strict Paleo for 85 days today. I eat nothing but protein and produce and because of my kidney disease I have just 12 oz of protein per day, unlimited veggies, and about 3-4 servings of fruit per day. Somedays I do just 1-2 servings of fruit. I use Newman's Olive/Vinegar for dressing and to flavor all types of things. I never eat tubers etc. I have lost 20 pounds in this first almost 3 months, and have alot more to lose. I don't take days off.
There is a Paleo Team here on SparkPeople which I enjoy too.... I have not read that book, and would like to learn more about it, especially if it has anything different to say.....
Wishing you success with Paleo, the best things for me is I do not have to inject insulin anymore, and I feel good (except when I'm sick like now) and I do not get many cravings or much hunger between meals, I also work out in the pool and go to support meetings to help me.

I really like TurboFire...it is really based on kick boxing. It is choreographed and has awesome music and tempo. Chalene Johnson is awesome and the room has energy that is out of this world. Have you watched an infomercial or gone on YouTube to watch it to see if it is something you would like. I personally love it and it has helped me lose 50 pounds! I burn anywhere from 400-700 calories depending on the workout~time, intensity, etc. There are HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) that are 15-25 minutes long. Then the "regular" workouts are anywhere from 30-60 minutes long. I hope that helps a little bit.
