I am Sam. I am 22, Married, with 2 young kids. (3 years and 1 and a half years old)

I currently Stay Home with my little Monsters. Time not spent playing and cleaning with them is usually spent at the gym. I love to run. There is nothing better than running around the neighborhood. Nothing but me and my playlist.

After I had my daughter I was at the heaviest I know of. I remember my son would go down for a nap and me and Scarlet would then go cuddle and nap. After realizing how terrible I looked in Christmas Pictures I knew things had to change. In January 2010, I started putting Scarlet in her crib during that nap time and I did Jillian Micheal’s 30 Day Shred. With that Alone and lowering my portions I lost 22 pounds. I went back to work and maintained that loss until January 2011 when I started my weight loss again. I joined Sparkpeople January 22nd.

I started walking on my 30 minute Lunches, and then walking at home. I have an elliptical at home and did Jillian Micheal’s again. I eventually got a gym membership too! Getting bored with walking it was made me want to run. I made slow changes to my workout routines and now I work out an hour a day 6 days a week and I strength train 3 days.

With Sparkpeople I’ve learned so much about fitness, nutrition and overall wellbeing! I’ve also lost 18 more pounds!!

I am a runner! I love every moment of it! I used "SparkPeople Official 5K Your Way Walk/Jog Program" to get there.

Other Information:
Aside from exercise, I love to Scrapbook for my little guys, read and cook or bake.
