❀Bringing Sexy Back❀

I am SO SICK of my life-long weight rollercoaster, folks! This time I'm doing this for GOOD. Every pound lost is forever barred from my body. I WILL BE A SEXY PIN-UP GIRL AGAIN!!!! I am a Done Girl and proud of it!

I am SO SICK of my life-long weight rollercoaster, folks! This time I'm doing this for GOOD. Every pound lost is forever barred from my body. I WILL BE A SEXY PIN-UP GIRL AGAIN!!!! I am a Done Girl and proud of it!

-The Weight Timeline-

-As a toddler, I became a very picky eater. My mom was paranoid and literally scared I would starve to death, so she let me eat whatever I wanted, which was pure junk. I jumped up six clothing sizes in the summer of 1988, when I turned 4 years old.

-Between May and October 1998, I lost 50 pounds with the Richard SImmons Deal-a-Meal system, and kept it off for 5 years. I was skinny for the first time in my entire life, but I didn't see myself as healthy and vibrant. I saw myself as a whale, and I continued to have poor body image.

-Between mid-2003 and May 2004 I gained all the weight back due to severe depression. So I started doing cardio, eating healthier and tracking my carbs, and after a year-long plateau, I finally dropped back down to 140 pounds.

-Gained 20 pounds between 2007 and 2008, lost 10 pounds, then gained 50 more until I officially weighed in at 210 on August 28, 2009. Lost some weight but wasn't super-serious about it.

-July 7, 2010 - Joined SparkPeople. I dove headfirst into it and did cardio three-four days a week and counted calories instead of carbs. Every month, more inches dropped from my body and I dropped two jeans sizes.

-December 17, 2010 - Completely fell off the wagon when I officially immigrated to Canada. I was so overjoyed to be back with my husband and everything I loved that I just... forgot about trying to be healthy.

-May through September 2011 - Got my Spark back and did Weight Watchers for a while, then switched to a lower carb diet and lots of exercising including Jillian Michaels DVDs. Lost some weight and 5 1/2 inches total.

-Rest of 2011 and into 2012 - Completely lost motivation, got on antidepressants, and gained a gazillion pounds.

-August 2012 - Got more serious than I've ever been in my life after being depressed over seeing awful photos of myself. I kicked my arse into gear, bought healthier food, started tracking my carbs again, and began exercising.

- October 2012 - June 2014 - Fell off the wagon again after injuring my tailbone, and was half-hearted with eating right and exercising. Usually failing hardcore. Back on the wagon now!

After that, who knows? It all depends on where I stand with this fat and flab hanging off my poor organs and bones. This is ridiculous! I have spent most of my life being fat and unhealthy, and I'm so sick of it. Never again.

Welcome back! We were spark friends back in 2011 I believe. I went missing for a bit and when I came back earlier this year most of my spark friends were gone. Just saw your updates that you were back so I wanted to say congrats and welcome back!

At the time I was waiting for my wife to immigrate to Canada. We ended up living in Orlando for a year and now I am back in Canada waiting for immigration paperwork to be approved so I can move to the US.

I hope you are doing well, and please let me know if you need any support. Take Care!

emoticon Happy Birthday, DONE GIRL

This is the best time of the year for you to begin anew as your Sun sign gives you strength to make a fresh start. Cancer is a wonderful sign for a woman to be as it is the sign of the mother, who is in control of her family. You have tenacity to stay with and finish any task you start. You can be a nag and you want everything don't yesterday and done your way. Often you are the "Little Red Hen" who ends up doing it all. Learn to direct others so they take part in the work. Cancer can certainly have a weight problem as she loves to cook and to eat. But, she also has tenacity and can exercise and keep herself fit if she wants as this is her way to setting an example to those around her. She gets along with Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus, Pisces and Scorpio. She is a saver and most often has her secret cash account.
She can have health issues with her breasts.
In Cancer the Sun is receptive and moody. You are a very sensitive person who is easily influenced by your environment. You are likely to be exceedingly protective of your feelings, as well as the feelings of those to whom you are close. Emotions are strong in your nature. You approach life with many feelings and a strong nurturing tendency. Your moods are varied and changeable. They are synchronized to the Moon, flowing in and out like the tide. You are acutely aware of the atmosphere of feelings surrounding you. You're skeptical and distrustful of people. It's not what they say, but simply the way they say it and the way you interpret their meaning.
You need to tell your deepest thoughts. When those around you are not receptive, you can become quite difficult to reach. The "crabby" part of Cancer shows up once in awhile, as well. When these moods are in control of your behavior, you can snap someone's head off for no reason at all. People you live around have to learn that you are not really angry with them. This is just the way Moon children are sometimes. By nature you are quiet and somewhat reserved, frequently retreating or putting up a protective barrier when you feel in any way threatened.
You are attuned to the past. You tend to cling to reminders and memorabilia of your family and of earlier times. Many Cancers are attracted to collecting antiques. You may be one of those people who collects just about everything. It's hard for you to part with something when there may be a chance need some rainy day, no matter how remote that chance may be. Cancers are the original "pack-rats."
You place much importance on the home and family. Your family or your "family of friends" is the center of your life. They provide you your sense of security and belonging. Your role in this environment is the source of your self-esteem and often overshadow your sense of individuality. It's hard to break away from your early upbringing and depart from the family traditions you have experienced. Cancer is the sign of motherhood. In both sexes, it produces a parenting instinct that is caring, protective, and indulging. Even unmarried Cancers adopt friends, co-workers, and neighbors in an extended family situation.
Hardworking and dedicated, you make an excellent employee. You are loyal and respect authority. This makes you supportive and protective of the boss and rarely questioning company policy. You do find it very difficult to handle change and disruption. If you are the boss, you like your employees to be dedicated as you are. Unfortunately, sometimes you may surround yourself with "yes men" who simply reinforce your decisions. You don't take chances or risk sweeping change.
Money is very important to you. Not for what it will buy or for the freedom it provides, but for the sense of security it provides. No matter what else is to be said of Cancer, security and having the protective shell in place, is overriding. - emoticon
