Like many others I have tried many, many times to lose weight. Actually, I lost 50 pounds, several years ago, never gained it back but couldn't seem to lose more. I really believe that this time is different though, because of Spark People. I look forward to logging on every morning! Among other occupations, I am a writer, and ever since my thumbs were injured in a car accident, it has been difficult for me to use the keyboard, but I'm determined! My goal is to lose 45 pounds!

My goal is to lose 45 pounds or more by my birthday, April 29th.
I also plan to self publish my book of poetry, and have an elegant evening of poetry reading and book signing.
I bought a fixer-upper duplex which I plan to renovate and update!
I log on to Spark People everyday, listen to Spark Radio, read the articles, watch the videos,take the quizzes, track my food and stay in my calorie range.
Treadmill 30 minutes 3x weekly.
Stationary bike 15 minutes 3x weekly.
Strength training 3x weekly.
I follow Leslie Sansone's WATP 2 miles every day!
I am a retired teacher, writer and a poet. I have two beautiful adult daughters, and three beautiful granddaughters.
