To a new year, dedicated to healthy choice. I vow not to make choices that are extreme, you can do it for a little while, then occasions and Holidays come along and botch it all up for you. I will continue to follow clean eating path, which I have chosen for staying healthy, and keeping the diabetes at bay. To a new year, dedicated to healthy choice. I vow not to make choices that are extreme, you can do it for a little while, then occasions and Holidays come along and botch it all up for you. I will continue to follow clean eating path, which I have chosen for staying healthy, and keeping the diabetes at bay. This year I am eating less meat, gradually want to not eat meat, except for occasionally. And not sure I want to give up fish, especially the good kind, like Salmon. Don't have to have it everyday, but maybe once or twice a week. It's not a resolution, it's more of what I need. My appetite is not like it used to be. I am finding I can eat small portions, and be satisfied, not like in the past where I overate to often, because it was soooo good! They say when you get older, your taste buds kind of dwindle. I always thought it was because of all this manufactured cardboard food, now realize it is me as well. Oh well, if it works to keep me eating small and right I'm good with that. So lets see what 2016 brings. Being in the 2000's is unbelievable enough when you were so used to the 1900's!!

I will give Sammy a hug and a scratch for you...I'm always talking to him and tell him he has admirers. He really listens to me and he will preen and strut around when I talk to him. It's so cute.

Poor little goat being alone...I know one reason that Milly Goat handled Billy Goat passing on from old age was because our horses, dogs, and Sammy are her family too. Nobody ever has to feel alone at our house. emoticon

I don't know what happened to Surfwalker. emoticon

Sammy is doing fine and I'll have to write about him again soon. He loves being hugged and scratched more than ever so when I'm moving him from outdoors to his night time stall, he'll stop because he want me to pet him but if I do then he'll sit down and trying to get him up and moving again is really hard. emoticon He is such a character!

Milly Goat would love for you to come pet her. I've been petting her so much all winter that her winter hair looks like a frizzy cotton ball plus she loves to walk along our fence, leaning her entire body into it, to get a full sided body rub. emoticon Soon all the animals will be shedding and there will be hair and feathers flying everywhere. emoticon

I'm 59 so I remember General Hospital in the past even though I never watched it. I think I enjoy hearing people talk about soap operas more than watching them because the stories sound so funny when they are told. emoticon

R and I understand what you are going through with your neuropathy. My husband was a runner since he was 13 and now he can't run anymore. He does ride his bike beside me when I walk or hike, does "real" biking workouts on his own, and uses our elliptical. Hadn't thought about using a clutch being a problem...our vehicles have been automatic for the last 10 years.

Take care of yourself and stay safe! I have some new pictures of Sammy but I'm getting a new computer up and running before I can upload them properly....he's doing his favorite thing...playing in water...in the pictures. emoticon
