I was a type 2 diabetic. I changed the way I ate and started mildly exercising. I still need to lose weight, but when I went to the doctor Sept. 12, 2016 my A1C was 5.5. My doctor told me I was no longer a diabetic. It took me a little over a year to get there. I know that I have to keep eating right and exercising to maintain my numbers though. Happy Day To You. Progress, the LCHF is working for me I just know it. Now.... my husband is onboard yayyyyy. I even setup a spark people account along with HIS settings and had him add food in it. He was very surprised to see how important it is to log and track and keep carbs no more than 20 per day. We are getting creative with getting fats up. I can recall using Stevia a few years ago. I bought it at Roots, a nearby health food store. I don't think I liked it. If I drink tea, I don't have to use any sugar, so perhaps that's what I'll start doing. I'll look for the other sweetener you mentioned and let you know if I find it (Amazon might be the place to find it, you're right). 55 days ago
