Oh, I forgot to tell you, in the previous post, that emus can live to 25 years old. So we still have time together hopefully. emoticon

Ostriches can live to 60 so I would be worried that I'd outlive it and couldn't be sure of a good home after I'm gone but I'm pretty sure I can live 5 more years. emoticon Actually I have two horses that are 9 and 10 so I have to make it 20 more years since they can live to 30.

I'm 60 now and my parents are still alive at 84 years of age, living together on their own so I have the genes to hang in there. But I do truly keep in mind the future of my pets and they are one of the many reasons I've worked to stay so healthy.

Right now Sammy's "do" is a mess because he's been molting but a lot of the year it's poofier and more to the back of his head...I think it's so funny and play with his poofy top feathers, a lot.

When I'm petting him, he leans on me with all his weight and I have to be careful to walk away slowly, so he doesn't fall down. He is the most huggable thing ever. emoticon

Milly Goat is so cute. She'll start running, bucking, and rearing if we don't do what she wants us to do (and we usually don't do what she wants us to do). emoticon
