1/9/18-- Currently 110 pounds over goal. 1/23/16--Currently 70 pounds over goal, but I''m actively working on getting back to goal. At least I've maintained a 25 pound loss for almost 5 years. I have to be proud of that. I''m a single mother of 3. I'm working on living a healthier life, being kinder to my heart, and setting a better example for my kids of healthy living. I'm enjoying the challenges and rewards of maintenance! Down 54 pounds (194) Mar 5, 2011 CASI St Patrick''s Day 5K: March 12, 2011 Down 60 pounds: April 2, 2011 Gilda''s Run for Fun 5K: April 10, 2011 Steeve Klooster Memorial Run 5K: May 7, 2011 * I had good intentions of keeping this^ up to date, but really lost track- somewhere in here, I lost 40 more pounds, participated in probably 8 more races, and started biking. This journey has really broadened who I am and what I do, and I love it! 1/23/16 I've been struggling with the effects of age/perimenopause on my weight goals for 2 years now, and I've experienced significant setbacks, but I'm not giving up!

I'm Michelle. I've lived in Iowa all my life. I have 3 great kids. One has graduated from High School.
My boyfriend of 8 years is an incredibly wonderful and supportive man. I am truly blessed!
