Getting serious about weight loss

I have multiple health issues that could all be greatly reduced (or eliminated) if I lost weight, so that is what I'm going to do! I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter and an awesome husband that I need to do this for (besides for myself!). I am a social worker working with children with special healthcare needs. The only way I can go from here is up!!

MLKDUD had to cut my morning walk short. apparently the campus is not conducive to walking on move in day!

My Goals:
-Get diabetes under control
-Keep exercising 5 days a week for at least 20 min
-Add some strength training/daily stretches
-Continue to lose weight
-Cut portion sizes even more and eat 4-5 servings of freggies every day
-Lose 5% during the Summer 5% Challenge (I was 2 pounds shy of making it in the Spring Challenge!)

at least 20 min 5 times a week and build from there. Want to add 1-2 days of strength training

I love your weight loss! Now I would like you to post something active that you like to do!! Al your likes are sitting!

I love to ride my bike , swim, take the babies walking in the double stroller, bowl! Dance to What Does The Fox Say!

How many steps do you take a day? I am trying for 10,000,but barely getting 8000. If i do not try I get 2000....
Give me hints on how you have lost so much weight!

That is great she likes salads! Have you tried the Strawberry fields salad from Wendy's? Yummy! She might like it too because it has Strawberries in it and it looks pretty. I don't think I told you but we are going have our third little one=0) I'm pregnant. I have not officially told the girls yet until after we hear our first heart beat. I hinted to Rena Lynn and she smiled.
You are doing so well and know that you finish this year out with a great ending!
