Getting serious about weight loss

I have multiple health issues that could all be greatly reduced (or eliminated) if I lost weight, so that is what I'm going to do! I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter and an awesome husband that I need to do this for (besides for myself!). I am a social worker working with children with special healthcare needs. The only way I can go from here is up!!

My Goals:
-Get diabetes under control
-Keep exercising 5 days a week for at least 25 min
-Add some strength training/daily stretches
-Continue to lose weight
-Cut portion sizes even more and eat 4-5 servings of freggies every day
-Lose 5% during the Fall 5% Challenge (I was 5 pounds shy of making it in the Summer Challenge!)

walk at least 25 min 5 times a week. Two days to the gym. Want to add some strength training

Thank you for commenting on my blog! My trip was a good trip but bad for my nutrion. I got home around 730pm and that's just way to late to have a meal. If I wasn't gluten free I could have fixed a PBJ and had that for dinner or snack before I got home and then I wouldn't have been down 600 calories for the day! But, hey, tomorrow is another day. I'll get back on the train in the morning! :)
