Motivation + Accountability = Success

I will had my 3 year Sparkiversary in June 2015. In 2014 I was having problems with my left foot, I ended up having serious foot surgery on November 3 2014. I am able to walk again but cannot run until November 2015. I found Spark People in June 2012 and started eating better, but didn''t really start my workout plan until September. I''d like to attempt a mostly Paleo diet, but I know I''ll have to ease into it. Maybe start with trying to eat more veggies and protein and less carbs.

My Goals:
Get in Shape! I want my clothes from the last few years to fit again!

Overall goals:
Interval train at least twice per week. Some form of exercize every day!

My Program:
I'm eating better-which includes no snacking after dinner/before bed.

At least 6 glasses of water every day, 8 glasses as often as possible.

Exercising a bit every day! When my foot is fully healed I will do intervals (Couch to 5K program) two-three days a week and some strength training at least twice a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Milwaukee and love it. I am going to grad school to eventually work in student affairs at a university.

Thanks for the tips on studying and exercising at the same time. I will try to do those things! Maybe if I do both at the same time, it will help to balance the stress out. LOL.

Thank you SO MUCH for the blog post comment about my December calendar! It's great to hear that you also started your journey on December 1. Feels good to be focused on being healthy instead of totally letting yourself go this month, right?! :) It was so encouraging to hear you say I could compare this to next December 2015 a year from now. I'm SO looking forward to that day that I can finally say, "I DID IT!" and focus on just maintaining a healthy lifestyle instead of being dragged down by all this extra weight.
