Motivation + Accountability = Success

I will have my two year Sparkiversary in June. In August 2013 I moved back into the city. I joined Spark Coach but have since stopped using it. I jogged a 5K, and plan to run the same race this summer! I have attempted 'clean eating' which is going alright.

I found Spark People in June 2012 and started eating better, but didn't really start my workout plan until September. I had lofty goals of turning my 16 pound loss into a 20 pound loss by September of 2013... I've continued ...

My original motivation: Three years ago my friend Sam started taking her weight-loss seriously by eating better and walk/jogging and she looks spectacular!

My current motivation: I gained 5 pounds back since I stopped regularly exercising... I can see and feel the difference. I must say I like being active much better than not.

My Goals:
Get in Shape!
I don't necessarily need to count the pounds but I want my clothes from the last few years to fit again!

Overall goals:
Interval train at least twice per week. Some form of exercize every day!

My Program:
I'm eating better-which includes no snacking after dinner/before bed.

At least 6 glasses of water every other day, 4 glasses on the off days (until my bladder gets used to the excess liquid). Then I'll work up to the necessary eight glasses, which I do reach from time to time.

Exercising a bit every day! When my foot heals I will do intervals (Couch to 5K program) two-three days a week and some strength training/yoga via my Wii Fit at least twice a week.

Personal Information:
Originally from a small town in Wisconsin. Now I live in Milwaukee and love it!

Just found your Spark page - and looks like you have the right attitude. Now, while you are younger is the time to take your health seriously.
I was a single Mom, now retired. Just did not take the time to care for myself. Was "too busy" caring for my chilcren and others. Now I am overweight and just wishing I had realized earlier how important I am too.

So, just want to encourage you to take care of you today!! Tomorrow you will be so glad that you did. And SparkPeople is a great place for encouragement, motivation, and lots of great friends.
