Motivation + Accountability = Success

I will have my 4 year Sparkiversary in June 2016. In 2014 I was having problems with my left foot, I ended up having serious foot surgery on November 3, 2014. Of course I managed to fall down the stairs on Thanksgiving 2015 so had a broken toe and cracked metatarsal. I've been pretty lazy & I'm looking to kick laziness in the butt this summer! With the start of 2016, I tried to start my new journey to being a healthier person, but I just didn't get to where I wanted to be. I want to get fit, I just have to do it, I have to convince myself that I can! I found Spark People in June 2012 and started eating better, but did not really start my workout plan until September. I had lofty goals of turning my 16 pound loss into a 20 pound loss by September of 2013, continued to keep the weight off, but due to my foot problems and surgery I gained it all back and then some.

My Goals:
Get in Shape! I want my clothes from the last few years to fit again!

Overall goals:
Interval train at least twice per week. Some form of exercize every day!

My Program:
I'm eating better-which includes no snacking after dinner/before bed.

At least 6 glasses of water every day, 8 glasses as often as possible.

Exercising a bit every day! When my toe is fully healed I will do intervals (Couch to 5K program) two-three days a week and some strength training at least twice a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Milwaukee and love it. I am going to grad school to eventually work in student affairs at a university.

Thanks for sharing your motivational points on my blog. I am trying to find my inner beauty (do guys really talk like that?)...B ut it's someone I recognize as a good looking guy. I hope you know (since I recently realized it) that your perfect just the way you are...Even though we hold ourselves to a higher standard than we're happier with the only thing that matters is that WE understand what makes us happy and know where we are going! Best wishes and lots of support from me with your program. I know we CAN do it!

Thanks for your comment on my page. I have been eating Ben and Jerry's frozen Greek yogurt Peanut butter banana or strawberry shortcake 180-200 calories but very satisfying! emoticon
