First, Love the Lord your God!

When asked what the greatest commandment in all of life is, Jesus Christ said, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength" (Mark 12:28-34). When we seek our Creator above all other things, and submit our lives to him, everything else has a way of falling in place.

So I'm seeking to live a more healthy lifestyle but that's not the main thing that's on my mind. The main thing that's on my mind ...

What a beautiful thing to say about your wife (I read the post of how we met our spouses) I'm sure it would make her smile if she knew what you wrote. It's nice to hear that from the men as I always read how the women love their hubby's but it's rare to hear from a husband ....
I bet she feels the same about you! Cute couple.... emoticon

Your times are just that- yours. You are out there, you are challenging yourself- that is how it begins. Awesome job and keep on trucking!

Amazing what one can do on a flat surface. Lol...I do this workout 3 days a week and then do a long, slow distance ride on the weekends. Biggest problem on the "fast" days is I am pretty much done after 30 miles.

Training is coming along well, on the cycling side. The unseasonably warm weather has cooperated, on that front. On the strength training side, I've been lacking. Hard to motivate myself to stay inside to lift, when I could be outside getting in some saddle time.

How about you, goals coming along well? Any events or races planned for this year?
