Starting fresh

Retired after 35 years of teaching in June 2011. Need to get back into shape and looking forward to help from new friends.

I am finding that I like to exercise! I am trying a variety of types - circuit training, aerobics and yoga! It is a great time to be alive and I am so enjoying my life now!

I am also finding I enjoy cooking more than I ever have, which is unbelievable for me. I have improved on timing my dinners and healthy choices.

Tracking what I eat, tracking my exercise and returning to deep breathing exercises. Also to keep up with self hypnosis once a week.

Just retired after 35 years of teaching and ready to start fresh!

I enjoy sewing, machine knitting and reading. Also like a bit of gardening and have found I love to exercise each day.

I like to try new things, have taken up hunting with hubby's help.

thank you for your suggestion regarding my scattered life. I believe I will give it a try.

Insurance is the most important. Can't get to buy healthy food if I have no vehicle to drive.

Saw your comment about using your hand as a guide to eating dense foods when out. Me, too! Palm for protein, fist for starches, thumb for fat. it's so, ahem, handy.
