Working Towards A Healthy Weight

I am the mother of 4 children and 12 grandchildren. I am active in my church community but have not gotten involved in other volunteer positions since I have recently moved to a new state.

I am a breast cancer survivor and I have three knee replacement surgeries (Right total, Left partial, Left total)
I am a perfect yo-yo dieter. However, though I sometimes let those failures defeat me, I now see that I have learned many things a long the way. I am going to focus on that ...

My Goals:
My short term goal is to weigh 180 pounds or less by January 31st. I weigh 189 today. My daily short term goals are daily behaviors: exercise 6 days/week for at least 30 minutes, strength train 2-3 times /week, eat within my calorie range AND record it in Spark People.

My Program:
I am eating nutritiously balanced meals and attempting to work out 6 days a week .
