Ready for Change

I have struggled with weight all of my life. I don't ever remember being thin. A few years ago, I decided to do something about it. I began eating better and exercising. At one point, I had lost about 80 pounds. And then, I started to get lazy. My workouts became inconsistent, and my eating became horrible. I have gained much of my weight back, and mostly because I've just made excuses and tried to do this without accountability. But now, I'm ready to start my journey anew. I'm going to ...

My Goals:
For my weight goal, I would love to lose 130 pounds. I know I will not lose it right away, so I am going to create mini goals of 20 pound increments.

For my fitness goal, I'd love to be able to actually run a 5K or mud/color/foam run from start to finish.

My Program:
I go to the gym at least four times a week, trying to do different classes so I don't plateau. Right now, I do the following classes:
~TurboKick
~BodyPump
~BodyCombat
~Cycle
~sometimes Zumba and yoga

I also like to go hiking and would love to challenge myself on different trails.

No worries. It is kind of inevitable with the chaos of the start of a school year. What helped me when I was working was to spend an hour or two on Sundays prepacking ziplocks and tupperware for the week with healthy snacks and meals. Are you able to grade while working out? An exercise bike or treadmill?

Share your secrets once you get in the groove. :) Keep up the hard work. You will feel SO great once you are successful.
