    I hope your week ended well. I am sure you will use this weekend to recover from your plant time. That week is over, on to the next, bigger and better, right? My week has ended well and off to do my workout this morning. I am feeling motivated still even after a challenging weekend last weekend and the Migraine Monday. I feel good once again and ready to go the journey full force. Have a good weekend and stretch out those tired and achey bones and you will feel better for it. Take care and touch base soon.

    Thanks for your response to my blog! I would love the idea of yoga, except I can't put any pressure on my hands and elbows, or get up and down from the floor for that matter as the RA severely damaged my hands and elbows, which is why I can't strength train the upper body. Maybe something like Tai Chi, which was what I was interested in earlier, but had bad knees and couldn't do, which are fixed now.
    I love your dog, a blue heeler is so striking!
    From your face photo, you sure do not look like you have weight issues. This site isn't about a 'diet' anyway. Its just to teach you healthy eating and living habits. Its not restrictive, you can eat pretty much anything you like, just make healthier substitutions were possible and exercise portion control. They have tons of recipes on here to try. The main thing is keep track of everything and keep within the calorie guidelines. Its actually kind of fun figuring out what to eat to get the proper nutrient ratio, like doing a jigsaw puzzle, figuring out which pieces go together!

    Hi, thanks for responding so quickly. I don't actually work out at the gym. If I had to go to the gym, I likely wouldn't do it. We invested in a Precor Elliptical trainer 2 years ago and we love it, a great cardio workout. My husband also bought a Bowflex about 8 years ago, but I don't like the feel of it, so I do my own hand weights. I have a few books and videos that I utilize to change things up. I know that keeping the weight off involves exercise so I must keep at it. Strength training is a must. You notice a huge difference in your body when you do it regularly. Well, I will connect again. I can't believe I have spent most of my day on this darn computer. I didn't have anything pressing today, so I just kept checking out Spark People and looking for groups etc. I am defiinitely liking it, but I don't want to be tied to the computer day in and day out. Although, job hunting on line will take time and so will recording my meals. I hope I find a job sooner than later and then I won't fall into the trap of it all.....take care and have a great week.

    Hi there, I was reading your blog, I have spent more than half my day on Spark today. I am finding I am enjoying reading the blogs, message boards etc. From your comments you are like me, over 50 and tired of struggling with this weight. It would be good to have a direct on-line buddy and I noticed you are looking for a Spark Buddy like me. We seem to have much in common, but I don't live on a farm, I live in the city (Winnipeg). I look forward to connecting with you and hopefully we can provide additional motivation to each other.     Welcome to the Herding dog team! Your story about your dog is so sad and I am so so sorry!! I hope Zayda works out well for you. The team is very inactive, but it is good to see a new member! I have 3 shelties and 2 border collies...they are always ready to herd! I wish I had as much land as you...that would awesome !
