    I hiked in Switzerland when I was in my late 20's Hut to Hut & it was absolutely fabulous! I agree entirely.. Iceland & Greenland!! Have you ever seen anything by Responsible Travel?

    thanks for the goodie! Still have a ways to go! Really did have that awful flu (but had the flu shot!) It took 2 courses of antibiotics and 3 weeks to feel better; though my energy is not back yet....
    Only have walked twice this week after 2 wks of nothing!
    Really sapped the energy!
    Slowly coming back....thanks for the boost! emoticon

    I LOVE my MG; it was the car I wanted in college, but it was deemed 'not safe' by dad (no roll bar) so I had a stupid Pontiac! ugh!
    Was always on the road (99) so that was the point! This one only had two previous owners and was original to the valley (visalia) so no rust and well cared for! I feel lucky to have found it! (with a roll bar too!!) I drive it often, though I have a bigger vehicle for the freeways! It can be very scary looking at big rig wheels on the freeway right at eye level!
    There are so many MG lovers out there....everyone has a story, and I get approached all the time when I am out and about with it!
    I say, get another one and relive those days! Put on your 70's playlist and rock on!! Keep 'em running!! emoticon

    Hi CGEM! To get a 400 calorie deficit, I am tracking every bite that goes in my mouth. I use an app on my phone/computer called MyNetDiary. I think it is faster and simpler to use than the Spark food tracker or any other one I've tried. I try to weigh food rather than estimate. I have a scale at home and one at work.

    To get my burn, I rely on my Bodymedia armband. But I also know from my historical data that my average burn is a little over 2200 per day for office days.

    So I am aiming to eat 1800 calories per day. Some days I burn more and I feel hungrier, so some days I might eat a little more.
