Positively Persistent

Had to change my intro because I HAVE put daily exercise back into my routine. Getting my "spark" back too. Amazing how much better I feel just after 15 weeks here. Still have a stressful job and home life but my health is now a priority.

since 11/12 I've added 1 new habit every week or so

1. exercise 10 min day
2. exercise 15 min day
3. drink 8 glasses of water /day
4. 200 minutes of cardio /week
5. avg 10,000 steps/day
6. track nutrition/ fitness daily
7. 2 strength sessions /week
8. Eat more veggies, fruit, lean protein, carbs, sugar

9. Join the Klove 30 day challenge
2/13/13 added:
10. give up alcohol for SP Lenten challenge
3/21/13 added:
11. Go back through 1-10 and focus on those I can do better on.


My Program:
I teach two strength classes. Using my elliptical at home to get in my cardio mintues and try to get to zumba when I can.
Got a cup for Christmas that holds 3 cups of water so I drink 3 times/day
Got a fitbit for Christmas and learning how to get 10k steps/day

Personal Information:
I'm married with 2 boys (in college) and 2 girls (in high school) + 2 dogs. We live in Ohio. I work at a university and also teach a couple of classes and am on board of our local YMCA. Got on SP thanks to a friend from church.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I tried brown rice, but it just isn't the same. I can eat a smaller amount and make it work.
