I'm a SparkZealot. For real. SparkPeople is making such a positive impact on my life, I can't help but be a little fanatic.
Life moves too quickly to spend it hiding in the shadows. This isn't Junior High. Don't waste time worrying about how you look or what other people think about you. Get out there and LIVE! You're gonna make the world a better place, just by being YOU!
(Of course, that may mean picking up a hula hoop, or ukulele, or accordion...)

Personal Information:
I'm Shelli. I'm 49, married to the best guy, with a young adult son and teenage daughter. We live close to Cincinnati and share a house with Chubbs the guinea pig and Bubba the English Bulldog. I'm Creative Arts Pastor for an awesome church. I'm also a hooper and total MacGeek.

Other Information:
Not so very long ago, I lost 51 pounds by following another program. I felt amazing. I had so much energy and I felt like myself again. I was ready to maintain, but the program said I still needed to lose 35 more pounds. That seemed impossible to me. Discouraged, I quit, and put all the weight back on.
My dad gently pointed me towards SP, because he's a member. I joined in Nov., 2010, but didn't really start working the program until March 2011. I've been up and down, but I'm loving it!
This a place, where I can set realistic goals, be encouraged, and achieve success.
