Well I'm back after 2 years. Going to try to focus on making the right food choices for a better body image! ~ 9/27/13

I'm doing a low carb, high fat, moderate protein daily intake of food. Am tracking my food (the good & bad) daily. The pounds are coming off & my body mass is shrinking! I feel better mentally & physically!

4/1/14 ~ Feeling better, happier each day. My friends are overjoyed to see this new positive person slowly emerging!

7/4/14 ~ Maintaining my current weight loss & enjoying the summer. Swimming in the lake and being outdoors.

Congratulations on such weight loss! Great job! I struggle with losing 30 and you have doubled that. A hero!!! emoticon

I hope you do not mind me asking a question. I searched for gelatin and read that you started taking it in April. My question is did you see results? I am interested because of joint pain, and I know you wanted stronger nails etc. But I am interested anyway on your take on it. When I did low carbs last time I lost a lot of hair so I will be needing something anyway now that I am doing BFC again. emoticon
Thank you,
n

Thank you so much for posting about www.mydreamshape.com/keto-calculator/ on the Low Carb- 50s+females. I have been doing Atkins off and on for several years (more off than on) and have only recently realized that I wasn't eating nearly enough fat. I know this will help me regulate my percentages. You have really helped my diet.

I think that the true strength of women is often underestimated. Often strength of the heart and mind are not appreciated as much as physical strength, but I think it is the most important strength of all.

Thanks for commenting on my blog.
