This is My Year!
Hi! I'm Kristi and I joined Spark in 2010 having no idea how much it really would influence my journey toward becoming a healthier, stronger, better version of myself! I have found friends here to laugh with, cry with, cheer with and walk this journey with. I am truly grateful. Hi! I'm Kristi and I joined Spark in 2010 having no idea how much it really would influence my journey toward becoming a healthier, stronger, better version of myself! I have found friends here to laugh with, cry with, cheer with and walk this journey with. I am truly grateful. My long term goal was to lose about 70 pounds and turn into the fit person I longed to be. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time in my life I feel like I really will get there. My ultimate goal is to climb Machu Picchu. What I really want is to be able to run around and play with my daughter without gasping for breath! I tried many times in the past to lose weight and become healthier, but I know they were half hearted attempts just because I knew it was what I was "supposed" to want. Truth was I just wasn't ready. Until now. Now I want it. I'm tired of being self conscious and not being able to do the things I want to do. I'm ready to take control of my life and the way I live it! I want to look back on 2013 as the year I tackled my fears and reached my goals!!

My Goals:
My goals are simple. I want to look and feel my best. I want to be healthy, and I want to be a positive role model for my daughter. I want to help her grow up strong, healthy and confident.
My Program:
I will drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. I aim to exercise some every day. I want to eliminate excess salt/fat/sugar from my diet. I don't want to totally give up the things I enjoy, but I need to learn to enjoy them in moderation and I need to make exercise a part of my life.
