10 pounds to goal!

(formerly MALIA4URU)

At my heaviest I was 240 pounds. I lost 30 pounds and got stronger in 2008 thru an outdoor fitness bootcamp, then hit a plateau because I didn't change my eating habits.

When I joined SP in Oct. 2012 I was stuck at 210 pounds, and my current goal is 160. I am 3/4 of the way there and the difference in the way I look and feel is huge. I keep being surprised when I see myself in mirrors.

I am grateful to SP and all my wonderful SparkFriends!

Only 8 and a half lbs to goal now (for you). That is so AWESOME!!

Its true what you said--at least I am getting a little healthier. Today I read this affirmation that said, you don't get credit for things you start, only for what you finish, and thats true. This past 6 weeks I didn't meet all my goals (no credit) but I did exercise more days than not and follow my eating plan more days than not (WIN!). Plus I lost the 17 lbs. So the past six weeks wasn't an Epic Win but it was still a Win. =)

I figure I"ll be about 2 years losing all this weight. Its always fast in beginning, the first couple of weeks, because you are making big changes in your diet and exercise, but then you adjust and the weight loss slows...

We bought a Royal Blenheim Apricot Tree, a Giant Babcock White Peach Tree, and a Anna Apple Tree. The Apple Tree has blossoms, and it is a bigger tree then the others. Next year should be tasty hehe. I have never grown oregano. Let me know how that goes. Have a safe trip!

We bought some fruit trees, and planted them the last two days. DH will probably start rototiller the garden soon. The weather has been so warm this winter. We have a chance of rain soon. I sure hope we get some. Hope your week-end is a good one!!
