I'm a MWF,early 40's w/ no kids... We do have a large breed cat (a Sybirian/Bombay hybrid) who's 30+ pounds so he's almost as big as a toddler! Healthwise I have HCV,GI issues, nerve damage in my right arm/hand,and my left leg,as well as neck/back issues w/ a herninated disc, 3 fractured vertabrae, and degenerative disc disease. About 5 months ago I started changing most of what I eat to "healthy options". Now if I eat/buy something high cal/high fat I make sure to only get/buy 1 portion so I am not tempted and don't completely pig out. But I have actually found alot of low-cal/low fat food I actually like. I also got a NutriBullet, and use it 2-3 times a day so I am eating lots of fruits & veggies which is a miracle. My husband can't believe it..he always eats lots fruit and vegetables and and the only thing I would do was every now and then have strawberries ( usually with whipped cream..my BIG weakness), and on occasion have a salad. would After I lose about 10 more pounds I need to start exercising! The gym in my building is under repair a nd I hope its fixed soon! But I have a punching bag in my living room,plus a park across the street to walk at.Unfortunatley I'm one of those people that always says they will do something "soon" or "later" but not right now. I have a lot of personal issues going on right now plus obviously other on going issues I need to work on. But at least i'm aware of it......

My Goals:
My goals are to become a healthier person inside and out, and to one day be able to look in the mirror and smile at what I see. Also with each passing day I realize how important it is to appreciate even the small things for all of it matters.....


My Program:
I have changed what I eat to include low calorie/low fat options...and reduce the total amount of calories per day. I now eat loads of fruits & vegtables...thanks to ordering a NutriBullet. Also I have actually discoved a lowfat/reduced calorie ice cream that I adore....Skinny Cow. It's better than Ben & Jerry's plus I could eat 2 servings of it and still have less calories and fat than 1 scoop of any of the premium brands!



Personal Information:
I currently live in Northern Viriginia but I was born/raised in D.C. I am happily married w/ no children, but we do have a cat we adore who we rescued from a neglect situation. The tiny sable coat gold eyed 3 week old kitten who could fit in the palm of your hand turned out to be a very rare large breed hydrid. He now weighs over 30 pounds..and no he's NOT fat . He saved us just as much as we saved him...


Other Information:
I like reading,writing,watching tv/movies,animals,and surfing the Internet ( even though I am far from being computer literate LOL..)

    Your cat is beautiful....wow...we had a maine coon who was about 30 pounds, not fat, and huge. Now we have 5 cats of siamese/yellow tabby mix...they are pretty small like their mom was and I love them to much. I raised their mom from an hour old, her mom was a feral who dropped her by my door. She passed when her kittens were 5 weeks old, so..they are all with me, plus her feral brother moved in !!

    I am the new leader of the HepC group, have gone through classes for the virus, and have an outstanding doctor and lots of information, links for support. Let me know what you need, or if you just want to drop in and chat.

    You wrote that the Nutrition Tracker frustrated you. I do not use it but have something on my computer that I keep track of the food and calories I consume. Then I use the My Quick Track on the My Trackers page. You can record the fruit/vegetables, water drank and exercise minutes in a short form.

    Just an idea.
