Love this dress, but have a bit too much junk in the trunk. 5-7 lb and I wear it with pride. Husband looks hot tho!
Fall 2010. 133 lb. Ok for weight lifting.
Shared Fitness Tracker
Just looking to gain support from stress eating and other people trying to be healthy. Have about 10-15 pounds I would like to lose and by having a support group I find it helps me build willpower. A healthy lifestyle is my goal, not a diet. My husband and I enjoy running, I like zumba and weights. My problem is not working out but that I like all food (too much). Work as a Director of Finance/CPA with 8 or more hours a day & a long commute so I often turn to food for "energy." Figured I would join here before I needed to buy new pants! Have great clothes that I want to fit into comfortably (and not have that red indentation after I take my work pants off!!). Newly married and since wedding have been eating like crazy. Now time to get back to being good and taking care of myself. I feel better when my life is balanced.
Update - After 1 month on SP, as of 2/2/12, I have lost 7 lb. Since I don't have much to lose, I am very pleased. My energy is through the roof. I am aware of my food, eat colorful foods, drink water, am running a 10k on 2/5, and actually wake up before alarm clock most days! Just waking up before the alarm is amazing and worth it to me! Stress from work doesn't affect me as much. My husband thinks I look hot and I am back to my wedding day weight. Yay!
2013 Update- In April or so of 2012 figured I had a handle and left here to do on my own. Apparently I was not ready to do that...needed support and tracking. Slowly kept eating more...blamed it on job stress. Felt blah in the fall. Remembered how much energy I had eating lower sugar, high protein, good carbs and decided to hop back on here. Wish me luck! This is really a lifestyle that I like and I need to commit myself to taking time for "me" and logging on here. It's not about getting to a goal weight and just going back to old ways. It is about living 80/20 rule of healthy lifestyle with some indulgences (ice cream, Christmas cookies, and wine). But by coming on here I can stay on track and read articles that focus on the healthy lifestyle! Very encouraging.
Run a 10K, have more energy, cook more meals, make ME a priority.
Gold's Gym-various classes, running, machines, weights. Also, this website, running outside when nice out.

I read somewhere that you have to be careful, that your not overdoing your exercise as well. Something to do with metabolism.
No I haven't tried the tea yet, but thinking of incorporating into my 6 week plan. It's supposed to help move the stuff that stores inside the fat cell itself. I am starting my 6 week plan on the 15th of May, because 6 weeks from that, I check in with the Dr. on how my blood tests look, and I also weigh in.
