Shared Food & Fitness Trackers
Welcome back! I'm in the same situation. This is my 3rd or 4th time giving SparkPeople a try. I had great success with it before, but I never stuck with it. I was never good at the social aspect of it, which they say makes a huge difference. Let's give it a try. I'd wish you luck, but I know it takes more than that. I wish you staying power. Congratulations on your future success!

It is hard to do anything when you have three small children to deal with. My DD had a baby in April of '12 and I took care of her so she could go to college still, but she met some guy and married him and now she's having another baby in April. She did finish two years of college, but she's working at a grocery store now. So, I will be taking care of two little kids. She's 23 and could have waited, but she didn't. I tell her with the economy she needs to finish her education, but I don't think she will. Glad you're going to school, but it is so much easier to do it first and then have children.

Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining!
I've been a member a little more than two years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!
Explore the site, make your Sparkpage if you havenít, join teams, and make friends. You will find this site an amazing place full of encouragement, inspiration, advice, and support.
Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

WELCOME TO SPARK!!!
Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.
1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.
2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.
The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!
