I'm not exactly new to Sparkpeople, but I'm starting fresh after a couple of years away. At the start of this weight loss journey, I have 100 pounds to lose to get to a healthy weight. I feel more motivated and determined than I ever have about losing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I've really come to grasp that concept of making weight loss a lifestyle change. After several false-starts with weight loss, I am ready to dedicate myself to this journey and finish it this time! I now know that I GOT THIS and I CAN DO IT!

My Goals:
-Lose 100 pounds, overall

-Lose 25 pounds by Jan 1, 2013

-Increase stamina, fitness level so I can do a full workout DVD without feeling like I'm dying!

My Program:
Diet:
-Under 1700 calories, per day
-Under 150g carbs per day
-3 healthy meals under 350 calories per day
3-5 healthy snacks under 120 calories per day.

Fitness:
-walking a minimum of 30 min per day, at least 6 days per week.

Personal Information:
I live in beautiful Northern New Mexico. New Mexico is my favorite place in the whole world and I feel so blessed to have a home here! I'm 25 years old, married, no kids, and have a wonderful dog named Mel. He is all in favor of me getting in shape because it means walks for him every day!

Hello GAIIAGIIRL, thanks for taking an interest and watching my blog! I posted a video for my first weigh-in this morning. That first weigh-in was on Sunday, November 11, and I had lost 10 pounds! Then I had my second weigh-in on the Sunday, the 18th and I have lost an additional 2 pounds. I've lost 12 pounds so far! emoticon
