Hi Shannon, I have been reading your blogs and girl, you are so on the same page as me so far as motivation is concerned. I htink once you find within yourself the motivation, the weight will come off more easily. Not having a support system at home is very hard as well. I just bought a book recommended by one of my other spark friends, WATERMELLEN. It is called The Beck Diet. It is based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. So far, very interesting and just the kick in the shorts I need right now. I am looking to reinstate my motivation and to help me overcome my I Don't Wannas. Anyway, you might want to give it a looksee. Once you find your motivation, the other things will start happening for you also. I know how you feel about the work situation. I think finding your purpose in life may help you find the perfect job, lose weight, etc. Maybe making that your goal will help align your other effforts. Hang in there, it will happen!
Maybe if you drop the word diet from your vocabulary and think Way of Life it nay help..I am a member of WW as well as SP they are very similar in the way they advise us on living a healthy life style, and for me at least there is not a thing that we cannot eat portion control is the main thing... I am sure you will look lovely in your sage green dress, and you know
Yep...it's so scary to leave after being here for 25 years but it was an offer I couldn't pass up! I'm terrified and excited all at the same time! But taking the leap of faith...feel right to me and the extra $$ is needed :)
