(Hi, I have been over weight for way... to long.. it is time to get rid of this weight and keep it off and live. I am looking at some options that are out there.) ... (2014) I said this in January 2010. I was 330lbs and I was the most unhappy, depressed person I knew. I had to do something I was looking for a quick fix but I knew that was not the answer but I sought out surgery.
After finding out I could not have the surgery due to a medical problem I knew I had to do something and that is when things changed I was serious It was die young of obesity or live and I wanted to live.. I found spark that year in April I had already lost 30 lbs and I knew I needed support but I found much more.. not only from the professional staff of spark but the community that is here not sure how many members are on spark but these members will be there for you through everything.. to me they are not members they are my virtual life line which I plug into everyday of my life for motivation, support and encouragement that is why I am still here that is why I have lost 100lbs the spark way.. NO the road was not all smooth and paved with pillows there where detours, pot holes , traffic jams and down right roads under construction but one thing for sure is I did not have to travel it alone and I still don't.. I have Spark and the wonderful community.

My Goals:
2015: I am resetting and recharging my Journey. My goals for the year are to lose the weight I have gained and then some.. If my body stops then I will except and love where my body is....
My goal is to eat clean, keep active , and not get down on my self..

My Program:
My program is to eat clean everyday.. NO high carbs such as pizzas and potatoes and rice and white bread..

Protein, whole grans, good fats and lots of water

Go to gym 3x a week but at least get on my spinning bike every day for 10 minutes

I just deleted my weight stats from 2010 till 2014 I more or less stopped in 2013 posting my Weigh ins because I had stopped losing I would gain and lose gain and lose and after this 2014 Holiday bam I was up 40 lbs.. well I am starting fresh Jan 1 2015 here is my weight

    Hi Anita, stopping in to see how you're feeling and if you're interested in the summer round of the BLC. I know you had your reservations with your knee with the spring challenge, so I thought I'd see what you think about joining us for the summer. It runs from June to mid-August.
    If this will help you get to where you need to be, don't worry at all about being a detriment to the team. As long as it helps YOU, that's what matters.
    I don't know if you've had your surgery yet or not, but if not, maybe this will help you prep for it. And any of the fitness stuff that can't be done, don't worry about it. Modification is the key! Trust me, there's a lot I have to modify as well because of my foot. lol

    You can absolutely still do the challenge! After this surgery, you're going to need a lot of support just to keep from pulling your hair out! lol And no ma'am, you WON'T be a handicap! We have several post-surgery, injured members (me included). One lady had back surgery, and her "cardio/st" minutes are her physical therapy sessions. I've been in a boot for 3 weeks with plantar fasciitis. lol
    If you' like to join, we'd love to have you! I don't want you to feel pressured into joining, it's totally up to you and I'd absolutely understand if you'd rather not.
    Good luck on your surgery! When is it scheduled for?
    My sister had knee replacement I guess about 10 years ago now. She was over 300 lbs at the time, and totally miserable. She'll be 57 this year, down to 145 lbs, can DEAD LIFT 175 and she does CROSS-FIT!!! Of course I personally think she's nuts, but it gives me a never-ending supply of hope! lol
