Tangerine Butterfly (5% Challenge Team Butterfly and BLC 2013 Team Tangerine)
My original goal was to loose 60 pounds by my next birthday, which is coming up on April 18, 2013. I am a 25 year old junior high teacher whose husband's weightloss and support have been the much needed motivation to better myself. I started out in June of 2012 and was able to stick to my nutritional and exercise plans up until midway through August when school started back. My original goal was to loose 60 pounds by my next birthday, which is coming up on April 18, 2013. I am a 25 year old junior high teacher whose husband's weightloss and support have been the much needed motivation to better myself. I started out in June of 2012 and was able to stick to my nutritional and exercise plans up until midway through August when school started back. In those three months, I managed to loose a little over 20 pounds. Since August, I had managed to maintain that loss and even lose a couple more pounds with some small ups and downs. I decided to recommit to my goals over Christmas break and since January 1st, I have been on a steady track to hopefully meet my goals. I have about 10 pounds more to go and just under a month to do it so I am not going to push myself too hard (in an unhealthy manner) but with support and determination I believe I could get very close to meeting my goal and meet it at least by the end of this school year (toward the end of May). By the way, if anyone is looking for an accountability buddy, please let me know. I need all the help I can get and love having someone to talk to about this. My husband is great, but he can do it without any help (He's lost about 100 pounds since February '12). I have joined the Winter 5% Challenge and I'm a proud member of the Beautiful Butterflies! I've made a commitment to exercise an hour a day at least 5 days a week. I say at least but I plan on 7 days a week. I am not following a specific diet. Instead I'm sticking with my calorie watching/tracking approach. I plan on supporting my team by visiting pages and blogs as well as meeting all the challenges. I plan to weigh in on Saturdays Starting Weight: 166.4 (2/23) Target Weight: 158.12 pounds (5%=8.32lbs) By When: April 20th, 2013 To reach this goal I need to lose 1.04 lbs each week I've also committed to participate in the BLC 2013 Spring Melt Off as a part of Team Tangerine So I'm a Tangerine Butterfly....

My Goals:
To not only loose those 60 pounds, but to create a more healthier outlook for my life. I don't want to just be thinner. I want to be a better me.
My Program:
I've set the goal to walk AT LEAST 2 miles a day (at least 5 days a week) or at least an hour of cardio/fitness 5-6 days a week. I have also started watching what (and how much) I eat.
