My favorite activities are kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, white water rafting, swimming, and I have to be in good shape to do those things I enjoy!

My Goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water daily.
2. Walk 10,000 steps daily.
3. Fill half my plates with veggies when I eat.
4. Track everything.

1. Wear FitBit fitness and calorie tracker.
2. At every mini-meal eat protein, good fat, complex carb and fiber.
3. Follow JM Body Revolution DVD workouts.
4. Drink 16oz water before every meal.

emoticon emoticon emoticon It's snowing hard here. We have about 2 1/2 feet of snow since this morning. It feels like all we do is shovel snow. I am certain my two will be out today making a snowman. And you can bet I will be inside warm. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Wow, it's Friday! This week has gone by so quickly!!
It's another below zero day here. So that means I will stay inside. My day will start off with a healthy breakfast, exercising and then decluttering the house for 15 minutes, followed working on my bedroom. And you can bet that I will be playing lots of my favorite songs to keep my mind off of all the work I need to do in my bedroom.

What are you up to today?

Don't be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves. William Patten

Woke up this morning to a cold, snowy day. I felt so happy to be able to go to work taking care of three very beautiful children. All of them have been abused. (My friend has adopted one of them and is in the process of adopting the other two.) I feel so very blessed to be able to care for them because I too was abused as a child.

This year I am focusing on being more loving and asked my Heavenly Father to teach me how to be a better mother and kinder person. Then pow, I was offer this job. What an awesome blessing and miracle for me. These three beautiful children are helping me understand my teenage daughter better. They are teaching much more than anyone can imagine. I now see how my daughter is asking for reassurance and needing to know she is loved. Also, I am better able to see how fearful she is at times.

These three children help me to be more loving to them and my daughter. They also give me so much positive energy as well as a free spirt that I have not had in years. I love being able to read them stories and make up games for them. It is amazing how special each one is, plus how smart they are. This is a wonderful job for me that I am so grateful for. I feel like I am exactly where I should be.
