Our wedding day 2/20/09. After gaining the weight over the years, I was determined to lose some of it for my wedding. I did. 42 lbs worth. I felt beautiful. Sadly, 10 months later I had gained most of it back :-(

So I've been slacking in my running lately, mostly concentrating on my muay thai (I just got promoted to white armband, whoot whoot!) For the next 30 days, I plan to eat clean and add more mileage to my running shoes. During the week I'm up at 5 am ...

I plan to stick with it at least twice a week for the next 4 weeks. Let's go!

Using Sparkpeople to track my calories, I'm more mindful of what I put into my mouth. Exercise consists of the Couch to 5K program, a 9 week beginner runner program, and strength training 2-3xs weekly, using SP recommended workouts.

Hey there. Just wanted to offer a thought...Prenatal yoga is a great way to stay fit/flexible and connect with other mommies to be. I also think it had EVERYTHING to do with how easy my labor and delivery was (without meds). Good luck on this journey, savor every second.

thank you for the kind comments on my blog. :) I'm definitely working on producing restaurant quality food...

To make the waffle-cut potatoes we had to use a mandolin slicer. My right hand lost the battle and I've got a couple of nasty cuts on my hand. *lol* ah..the life of a chef. I will say that my pain threshold has risen in the last 2 weeks. hahaha!
