About me, what's to tell...

I'm currently 47. Grew up mostly in Indiana, went to high school and college there anyway. Graduated Elston High School in 1979 and went on to Indiana University. Gained that freshman 15 in college (well, actually I gained a 4 year 40), so was 163 when I got out, dropped down to 128 a year later. After 12 years of marriage to a cheating skunk, had ballooned up to 180. After the marriage ended I started working out intensely 4-6 days a week, but never dropped more than 10 pounds from that weight, so got disgusted with the whole dieting and exercise thing until the above happened. Sparkpeople showed me that the reason I could never lose weight is that I was only eating 700 to 1000 calories a day. Once I started eating more food, the weight started coming off. So am determined this time, and started the cardio and weight training again as well. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 57 pounds by March 2009.

I would like to get my A1c down to 6.9 or less by October 2008 - Completed, reached 6.5!

I would like to get my A1c down to 6.2 by February 2009.

My Program:
Calorie intake between 1100 - 1400 a day.

60 minutes of weights and 60 minutes of elliptical 4 days a week

wher4e are you my friend?? missing you on the morning fasting thread and tiller too although i see he was here for sure so i'm gonna forgive him for sure and ron is back and to tell the truth we are all missing you are you not testing and just afraid to come back??? don't be past is past and you know you do better with us around and the acceptance is always there because we all find ourselves in the same boat at times please return my friend love and hugs mary emoticon emoticon
