I am making myself over....mind, body, and spirit....

I am a work in progress to be a better Woman than I was yesterday. I am dedicated and determined to be fabulous, sexy, amazing, and breathtaking.

I walk in FAITH, not fear.

I am a work in progress to be a better Woman than I was yesterday. I am dedicated and determined to be fabulous, sexy, amazing, and breathtaking.

I walk in FAITH, not fear.

Dear GOD,

Teach Me Self Control...

Your Word teaches that when we truly experience Your
saving grace, we find the power to say no to wasteful
passions and to live self-controlled and productive lives.
But how much I need Your help to overcome my laziness
and self-deception. Teach me and change me, Lord. I
want to become more self-controlled. Today it seems
that self-indulgence is the drug of choice on every corner.
But I don't want my appetites to dominate my life!
You promise to live powerfully through me so that I might
love You and serve others. Now show me how to build the walls of self-control and restraint around my life. I relinquish my rebellious will, which robs me of the self-control You want me to choose.

Thank You for helping me today.

AMEN

MOTIVATION TIPS
-author unknown-

Motivation Tip 1: Lose a little - it helps a lot

Losing just 5 percent to 10 percent of your body weight can have long-lasting health benefits. We show why.

Motivation Tip 2: Best tips to lose weight

Researchers reveal the top four constants that ensure weight loss.

Motivation Tip 3: Have fun and shape up

Who said losing weight needs to be boring! No so. Here are three fantastic calorie consuming activities that are most enjoyable in the cooler seasons, but somewhat impractical for most people in the height of winter and summer months.

Motivation Tip 4: What's your healthy weight?

How do you determine a healthy weight? We show you how.

Motivation Tip 5: Tummy fat is serious business

Tummy fat. Some of us have it, others don't. Is there anything special about a big belly compared to a large bottom? Research has discovered it seems that gauging your heart attack risk depends on where your fat is, rather that how much fat you have.

Motivation Tip 6: New year, new you resolution

The most popular New Year's resolution is to find a new job. The second, to get into shape! So, if you're starting out the new year with a commitment to lose weight or establish an exercise routine that sticks, good for you! Use the momentum of a fresh start to make things seem easier.

Motivation Tip 7: Count colors not calories to lose weight

If you need to drop and few kilos and dont know where to get started, stop counting calories and start counting colors. When it comes to losing weight, make sure your plate is piled high with a range of colorful fruit and vegetables. Read on to see why.

Motivation Tip 8: Weight loss keys for 40-something women

Weight loss is not the same at different life stages. The 40-plus woman may need to understand how her metabolism is changing and the impact on weight loss planning.

Motivation Tip 9: Journaling and weight loss

Whether it be your personal blog or pen & paper journaling, writing can reinforce your decision to lose weight and actually make it easier to stick to your program.

Motivation Tip 10: Self esteem and weight loss

Are you a 'look-and-lose' dieter? Have you studied every diet ever created, read a zillion diet books, and yet are still unhappy with your weight? If so, you may not realize your thoughts are key to your happiness and success.

Hiya! why doesn't tracking help you? i didn't like it a first but when i started doing it i saw i ate way too much of one thing and not enough of the other. On my little detox plan I realize what i have been doing wrong. When I want to eat a soup that is high in Fat, I don't need to be eating eggs for breakfast because they are also high in fat and i like to have two. When I want Indian, I better make sure I ate light for breakfast and lunch and save the fat for dinner. That helps if you track for a little while but that is what works for me. I am back on track after only being on this detox a few days and I had curry chicken last night but I am still ok. My plan is giving me ideas for breakfast and lunch and even dinner.
I understand about not meeting your goals. It is hard to accept and makes it that much harder to fight. That is when you have to really dig in and fight. Even if you don't meet your goals, getting healthier is always the most important one.
You can do this! emoticon emoticon
