JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

1Dec13 - I have been trying to maintain while recovering from injuries in a car crash in Nov, 2012. I am doing much better and I am re-starting to work on my goals.

My Program:
11/15/09 --I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, trying to get at least some cardio and/or strength training in every day.

2/24/13 - Still working with the same nutrition program. Started WATP on 2Jan13 and am seeing how long a streak I can get.

1Dec13 - I have continued my exercise streak of at least 10 minutes of cardio a day and today will be # 334.

1/8/14 - The streak continues - 371 now.

6-20-14 - The streak stands at 535!

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

1Dec13 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project.

1Dec13 - The lunch group continues to meet and I get there about twice a month. I have completed many hats, and a couple of other items.

Gardening went by the wayside this year, except for mowing. I do have things in place for getting an early start on things next spring.

Your position is a valid one even if here in Boise, Idaho, it is a rare one anymore. I have had rare experiences of vets being this way and they always got my respect and return business. Over the years here that sort of caring for the animal type professional who also cares about the owners financial situation has been eradicated.

I only too well know about the medical/insurance fraudulent practices which govern our country. I use to work in the medical insurance business. This is why I washed my hands of it and shake my head regarding the whole system. Luckily my BFF married a good man and doctor who treats me for free and I won't sign up for Obama Care!

Thanks for your comment on mine. I have SP and FitBit linked and it takes what I enter from SP and puts it in FitBit, I haven't entered it at all. Steps seem to be better yesterday when out walking, although not the same for both devices well within what I would think acceptable. So I will put that down to the style of walking I was doing before (marching in place) as THINFITKINDVEGAN suggested might be the case.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a long comment on my blog which was very helpful. I've just gone to the dashboard to find that there are items of food on my list for today that I have not put in on SP for today making my calorific intake way over. I have of course deleted these and it has come down to within 1kc of what SP say but I wonder why it added in foods that I had not listed for today. I had synced the information from SP so it should have been correct. I don't know, perhaps it's my age but things don't seem so easy these days! emoticon
