Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

he only way to get what you really want is to know what you really want.

The only way to know what you really want is to know yourself.

The only way to know yourself is to be yourself.

And the only way to be yourself is to listen to your heart.

I have missed some opportunities and screwed up others. I have my share of regrets and sad edges around a relationship or two. I’ve disappointed my family, friends and even more often myself. I have complained, whined, and been noisy, and then other times been silent when I should have spoken up. But tonight I will go to sleep with a smile knowing that tomorrow is right around the corner and another chance to get it right will be waiting for me.

It’s very important to be clear about what you want and where you want to be. Be specific, write it down, look at and think about the goal often. Once we declare where we’re heading the Universe always begins to respond by gentle nudges, unexpected connections and all kinds of reinforcements. It’s not just fun to watch this happen, it will restore your faith in miracles too!

Called my friend and agreed that it would be better to wait until mid-September to visit. She is going to the coast of OR with her hubby 12-16 and I am slated to attend a conference in Billings 12-15 so will leave here on the 16th. Breathing a sigh of relief since I can really get healed up and get more of my chores done so that vacation can be relaxing and fun. I just can't shake this crud. Feel good one day then horrible again the next? Not looking forward to this heatwave headed our way.

Nope-still healing up from the pneumonia. Decided I'd wait until I felt lots better and I am hoping to be out of here early Sunday morning. Gave me a chance to get lots of small chores done so feel pretty good about that plus feel so much better than I did last weekend! I will be more fun and have more fun this way, even if it's a shorter trip!
