I don't think I followed 'one' particular elimination program per se ... I read so many books at the end of last year/beginning of this ... I might have 'combined' from several. Some of the books I read were: The Immune System Recovery Plan by Susan S. Blum, The Grain Brain Whole Life Plan, and Eat Fat, Get Thin by Mark Hyman. There were several other books as well that influenced me. Presently I am reading/working The Calorie Myth; How to Eat More, Exercise Less, Lose Weight and Live Better by Johnathan Bailor ... some of this info is really mind-bending but I like how it is working ... the exercise I have not 'embraced' yet ... it's REALLY a different approach (20 min/once a week). This plan is eating whole fresh real foods, lots of non-starchy veggies, good protein, healthy fats and lower-glycemic fruits, nuts and seeds. I'm not eating ANY packaged food products now ... no breads, grains, cereals, pastas, cookies, cakes, chips, etc. etc. etc. No counting, measuring, etc. I find it very satisfying, no 'hunger', cravings, etc. I do fine when I'm at home/regular routine - recently went for a weekend trip for dh's bday ... everything went OUT the door/mind ... and boy did I pay for it (gained weight, felt crappy, just now coming 'off' all the JUNK I ate - ha!). I think NEXT TRIP ... I'll stick to the PLAN!!!!!!!!!

I cooked a mess of food! I'm a "preferaterian" liking mostly veggies and poultry.
I roasted Brussels sprouts and a yellow squash onion roast. I mix the veggies with either artisan chicken sausages or cooked chicken and that's my lunch or dinner. I'm ok with plain foods and I rarely eat grains or potatoes. However, I did bake a sweet potato to see what I could do with it. Always cooked yams and found this potato in the produce store. It may turn into a Mid Eastern veggie dish.
My cauliflower rice, mushroom and Brussels sprout mixture was ok but I think I might not make it with Asian flavors again.
My meals are low carb, low fat and low calorie.
    It's the dam#@d snacks!
