~ Wendell Berry ~
(The Sabbath Poems, 1993, I)

No, no, there is no going back.
Less and less you are
that possibility you were.
More and more you have become
those lives and deaths
that have belonged to you.
You have become a sort of grave
containing much that was
and is no more in time, beloved
then, now, and always.
And so you have become a sort of tree
standing over the grave.
Now more than ever you can be
generous toward each day
that comes, young, to disappear
forever, and yet remain
unaging in the mind.
Every day you have less reason
not to give yourself away.

Hi Rachel,
This is the second time I am writing this note to you. We had a threat of a power outage a little while ago. Probably due to the wind and rain storms that are plowing through our area. Several storms are due through here in the next day or so.

Anyways, many thanks for the note you sent me on my sparkpage. I am doing lots better, having gotten over the cold/cough I had over the past couple of weeks.
Haven't been on SP much though. Been busy helping my daughter with end of quarter studies and getting ready for two of my sons to arrive next week for the Christmas and New Years holidays.

Hope you have a great Christmas and holiday season. Keep in touch!

Take care and God bless,
Sue

NO!!! Not out of the loop.... Just the secret of who is actually is! The oldest one at 12 finally figured it out! The 10 year old is still writing her emoticon letter to Santa!

SO happy that I didn't steer you wrong!!! It's good stuff already (the chai, almond milk). Adding pumpkins only adds more nutrition and excellent flavor. I'm sure either honey or a touch of maple syrup would work well with it.

Take care, my friend!!!

You.are.KIND. Thank you so much - and each of my kitty girls thanks you too. Don't know what I would do without them right now. Funny, I thought getting three would be good company for Beth who was at home all the time and dealing with MS; turns out they're good company for me instead (insert bittersweet big sigh).

Did you try the pumpkin chai? If so, isn't it divine? If not, do it soon!!! :-)

I am so grateful for this team, this practice and you!

I hope your week is wonderful.

With love and gratitude,
Stephanie
