My Goals:
Current fitness goals: April '13: Run 10k race in under 70 mins using coaching plan from Jeff Gaudette on runkeeper.com; Lose 20 more pounds in while prepping for this 10K to lower my BMI to mid-range "normal". May '12 - Prep for a 10k race TBD and add strength training 2x week. Old fitness goals: April '12: Run 10k race in under 55 mins using coaching plan from Jeff Gaudette on runkeeper.com; UPDATE: done! Ran in 72 minutes with sore hamstring and extreme heat! Sorta disappointed :( Run in a 5K race in December of '10 using C25K. (NOTE: Done!!) Run in a 10k race in Feb. '11 or so using B210K. (update: Done! Ran BlueBell Fun Run 10K in 82 minutes April 9, 2011!!) Fall '11: Run a 10k under 65 minutes. (Done!: ran in Run For a Just Cause, Katy, TX in 72 minutes) December '11: Run a 1/2 Marathon in 150 mins; Done! Ran BCS Marathon/Half n 135 minutes!
My Program:
Read the bible, pray, and meditate 5 days per/week. Turn my will over to God daily. Serve someone in need today. Be grateful for what I have daily. Track all calories I put into my body. Cardio 240 minutes/week.
