Current fitness goals:

Run to train for April '15 10k.

Continue running in prep for Dec. '15 1/2 M.

Lose 15 pounds by March 13, 2015 in a "fast start" to my SP resumption.

Continue 2 to 3 days per week strength training in 2015.



My Program:
Read the bible, pray, and meditate 5 days per/week.

Turn my will over to God daily.

Serve someone in need today.

Be grateful for what I have daily.

Track all calories I put into my body.

Cardio and strength training each week.

ve been gone almost a couple of months now (my excuse being a new temporary job) "I know" "I know" but the good thing is that today is the first day of the rest of my life. Out the Door!

Thank you for your reply to a thread I started in Master Runners Saprk Team about how/where to keep a cell phone to log milage during runs . I liked your addition of a place to keep water bottles I havdn't thought about that.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your comment on my "new running shoes" activity feed. I am a trail runner but I don't purchase trail shoes. I got my 7th pair of Nike Pegasus "regular" running shoes. For me, the lightness and quickness of the Pegasus is an asset on a rough trail.

Trail shoes seem to be heavier and slower to respond to quick movements required to avoid rocks, roots, fallen trees and uneven ground.
