I enjoy cooking and like to make soup. I eat soup just about everyday for lunch.
I like all types of fresh food and don't follow a special diet. I eat whatever I want. I log my food and exercise and believe that moderation is the key to success.

My Goals:
Weigh 132 pounds.
Exerecise no less than 5 days per week.
Measure and log my food daily.

My Program:
My Program:
I enjoy hiking hiking on the mountain trails in New Mexico during the summer and so does my 9 year old Bichon Frise. I use my SOLE Elliptical 3 days a week when I am in Texas. I choose two toning videos to do on my workout days. I do all of my exercises at home. I drink LOTS of water. I do my best to say "No Thank You" to sugar and processed foods.
I travel frequently with my husband and we often split a meal!
I enjoy my cocktails and my red wine.
I add them to my log and do my best to burn them off! It does require discipline to have a cocktail that doesn't lead to snacking on chips and dips. On days that I lack discipline, I skip happy hour.

Personal Information:
I live in Texas and have twin 22 year old boys.
I am married and travel frequently. I am a newly retired teacher and look forward to the new freedoms that retirement brings.
I am enjoying my Spark Activity Tracker!
I recently gained about 20 pounds due to a broken leg. I am finally healed and ready to kick those 20 pounds to the curb!

Other Information:
Over the past 5 years, I have gained weight because exercise was not a priority. My job was very stressful and so demanding and time consuming. I cleaned out my closet, got rid of the "fat clothes" and made room for new clothes.
I also started weighing in with a friend. Acountability is another key ingredient to staying with the program.
I do eat out once a week at a nice place. I try to order large salads. I avoid fast food places as much as I can. Taco Bell is my downfall!

Good evening!! Thanks for the encouraging words on my page. March Madness hasn't started yet, the assessing starts on Monday!! emoticon she said sarcastically. We didn't have school today due to the very bad weather. No snow but the roads were treacherous, very icy! Continued success on the 90 Journey!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thank you for the warm welcome to the 90-day challenge. Wow, I'm really looking forward to losing some of these pounds that I've gained with having gained it before having my full knee replacement. I feel like a new person and can walk once again. Thanks again and I added you too!
Hugs, Karen

Hi Terri! Thank you so very much for the crown goodie, that was very generous and thoughtful of you! I'm glad you are wearing your invisible crown, we should do that every single day...we're worth it!

I have not done well on the challenge, and I feel like I've let people down because of that (but mostly myself.) But you are right, its not to late to come out on top. We can do it...we WILL do it! I appreciate you cheering me on, and I am cheering for you too!
Hugs,
Pixie

Focus on what you like about yourself, and that will bring you happiness and peace."
