Tex Mex Girl Lives In Canada

The Prodigal Daughter returns home. I have been away and managed to get lost during those months. Life has not always been fair or kind. These experiences have seemed to overwhelmed me. Here I am.

The Prodigal Daughter returns home. I have been away and managed to get lost during those months. Life has not always been fair or kind. These experiences have seemed to overwhelmed me. Here I am.

I am now 50, a little wiser and have a bit more of humility. The road I choose will require work and a deep faith in God for a lot of direction. If I continue to dwell on the current path I am on, I will miss living an abundant life. If I fed myself junk, I will deny myself many opportunities to be with friends. Friends who know what it is like to be on this journey.

I have the privilege of being married to the same guy for 21 years. I have two kids, two dogs, and one cat. My home is in Canada, although, I am from Houston, Texas.

Still participate in music;however, I am hoping to return back to school and complete a course in Grief Recovery.

emoticon Murphy Lou! Your page is pretty terrific too. I like the color scheme so uplifting and light and airy a feeling from the color scheme.
What do you like to read? How is the not eating at the counter habit change going? What do your girls think about seeing you change?

Welcome to the 'Taming the Sweet Tooth' team. Good luck going off sugar. I am nearing the end of a 100 days with no candy challenge, and it really is a challenge. I haven't tried to go completely sugar-free; I'm not sure I could.
Have a great week!
Lisa
